Moyes RX3.5 with the new Technora cloth
Hang glider manufacturer Moyes have developed their own Technora® based cloth in conjunction with Dimension Polyant Australia. It incorporates two UV film layers and an additional ‘warp’ weave for added stability (so it stretches less).
Technically speaking the cloth is a transparent mylar with black Technora® fibres which are much stronger than conventional polyester fibres. It is UV resistant, ultra-light weight with very low stretch and high tensile strength. Form follows function!
