The 41st Coupe Icare, the world’s biggest hang gliding, paragliding and paramotoring festival, starts on Thursday 18 September 2014. Some 100,000 people are expected to attend over the course of the four day event.
Held in the small village of St Hilaire du Touvet in the hills above Grenoble, France, the aerial Woodstock attracts visitors and pilots from across the world.

Highlights of the festival each year include the famous flying masquerade display, when pilots take off in fancy dress, the film festival, and the huge trade show which attracts manufacturers and retailers from around the world of free-flight and paramotoring.
