Swing Orange Cross rescue parachute

Thursday 16 October, 2014

Swing Orange Cross rescue parachute

Swing have released a new reserve parachute to the market. The Orange Cross is a cross design, a pull-down apex with outlet ports on the corners which offers excellent pendulum stability, even in strong or unfavorable wind conditions.

It offers a low sink rate and fast opening time, and doesn’t display the unwelcome tendency of some cross canopies to glide upwards.

Thanks to modern materials and a simplified packing method (similar to a round ‘chute), it packs small and is nice and light.

The Orange Cross is manufactured in Europe, and Swing say the combination of excellent workmanship and top quality products ensures a long life of up to 12 years.
