Niviuk have announced the arrival of their competition glider, the Icepeak 8.
They say:
The Icepeak 8 has evolved to perform more and demand less. It is a faster, more dynamic and competitive glider. In other words: it is an overall better product.
It conforms to the new CIVL Competition Class certification requirements and is a full-on comp glider, “made to win”.
Jean-Marc Caron won the Tenerife Taucho Open on one in November (Results here).
Niviuk have used Nitinol in the Icepeak 8’s internal structure, and explain it as a material that’s resistant to deformations, heat and breaks.
the Icepeak 8 is available in three sizes (22, 24 and 26) and two colour schemes (Ananas and Cherimoya).
