Ondrej Prochazka is a happy man. He has just helicoptered a super-high aspect ratio Aircross U6, and felt an extra warm fuzzy glow from knowing he has given it a little extra lease of life.
Open class two line wings are long dead, unfortunately… even if many of them still have a lot of life in them. Crying and sad, these little high AR beast are awaiting some attention in cellars, closets or boxes of all shapes and sizes.
I heard about one U6 from Aircross suffering, waiting to witness the sun of the day again. So I took her for few days, making a few hours of XC and finishing up to see if she could helico as well. Well, sure she did and seemed to be very happy to do so.
