Like its predecessor, the Mentor 4 inflates gently and reliably. It has no tendency to overshoot.

In a comparative, simultaneous flight test with the Mentor 3, the differences became apparent. In thermals the Mentor 4 outperforms its predecessor with its direct handling. It is better tuned and maintains its course even in turbulent air…
