Sky Country say the Discovery 5 is a simple, reliable and user-friendly EN B wing, which has come a long way in design terms since the first Discovery was released ten years ago.
Modern construction techniques such as plastic leading edge reinforcements, trailing edge miniribs and unsheathed upper lines all improve performance, while the aspect ratio and number of cells have been reduced, improving safety and reducing the glider’s weight.
Sky Country say that all Discovery 5 paragliders are laser cut, and this is their first wing to bear their new sail graphics.
Other improvements include new design, more comfortable brake handles with magnet keepers and new risers which they say makes the speedbar super smooth and easy to operate.
The Discovery 5 is certified EN B in sizes S, M and L.
