American company Soloshot have developed and produced an automatic camera tripod, which can capture perfect third-person footage without a cameraman.
The recently released Soloshot 2 is the updated model, and it is capable of a tracking a special armband tag up to 600m away at speeds of 300km/h, rotating through 360 degrees and automatically tilting the camera to keep the target in the centre of the frame.
The new ‘multi mode’ setting allows one tripod to track multiple tags, and you can set the camera to film the closest tag, fastest moving tag or manual calling.
To protect your investment from would-be theives, there are are loops on the tripod and base unit which allow a cable lock to be passed through and locked to something solid.
