Guy Anderson Crowned 2015 British Paragliding Champion

Guy Anderson has become the British Paragliding Champion after the conclusion of the second round in St André-les-Alpes in southern France.

The event, which saw four tasks flown after bad weather delayed the start, was also the Dutch and Belgian opens as well as a Pre-PWC. Ozone Enzo 2s dominated the podium with Dutch pilot Ronny Geijsen winning the Open ahead of Russell Ogden and Guy Anderson.

The result was enough to see Guy crowned champion ahead of Alex Coltman, winner of the Macedonian leg, and Julian Robinson. Jake Herbert, flying his Nova Mentor 4, was crowned Serial and Sports class champion. Women’s champion was Jess Cox, flying an Ozone Delta 2.
