Icaro have released a new paraglider speedbar to the market. They say it’s light, robust and user-friendly.
Its bright red anti-slip EVA-foam-covered main bar makes it stand out in a crowd and, more importantly, means your feet don’t slip off it while you accelerate. It has a Nitinol (sprung steel) strap below it, to make it easy to hook with your feet.
The knots on the speed bar line are located inside a flap in the bar itself, so to adjust its length you just open the flap to access and move the knots. In this way any any excess line is tidied away inside the flap too, not left dangling.
The speed system uses Brummel hook connectors.
