Weekday flying from Monaco’s Roquebrune take-off is to be restricted to afternoons only while roadworks on the A8 motorway are underway during the 2015-16 season.
Flying from the launch is permitted all day on weekends, as well as the Christmas holiday period from 25 December to 3 January, and Easter Monday, 28 March 2016.
Pilots have been asked to keep well clear (a distance of at least 50m) from the rocky walls where the roadworks are located.
Pilots who walk to the launch are reminded that most of the footpaths are also out of bounds. Walkers must go through the village of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and the Col de la Coupière where the roadworks have already been completed.
If you need more information, please contact the president of Roquebrunailes flying club, or see their website.
