Ozone’s Russell Ogden flew a proto of the Zeno at the North South Cup in the UK, May 2016. We got to fly alongside the Zeno over two tasks of 200km and 150km.
No release date has been confirmed by Ozone, who say they never know when a wing is finished – until it’s finished!
In issue 171, out early June, we review the Niviuk Peak 4 and Triple Seven King – two fantastic EN-D wings. The King impresses with its calm nature and ease of flying even in turbulent air and offers the most speed and best glide performance of any 3-liner we’ve ever tested.
The Peak 4 is a fast 2.5 liner with incredible roll response, and hits the sweet spot in its blend of performance and accessibility – it’s a much, much better wing than its predecessor, the Peak 3.
This is a really exciting segment of the market right now with a lot of the CCC performance filtering through to the new breed of more accessible machines.
