Skywalk have unveiled their latest high-performance lightweight EN/LTF D glider, the Poison X-Alps.
It is derived from the CCC-rated X-Alps2, as used in the 2015 race, and Skywalk say its glide performance is “phenomenal” while its behaviour remains manageable. The Posion X-Alps is targeted at experienced XC and competition pilots looking for a lightweight wing.
The XS size weighs just 4.0kg, and Skywalk say its durability is similar to their classic wings.
X-Alps finisher Stephan Gruber says of it:
The Poison X-Alps is extremely stable and will literally climb when flying straight ahead in rough air where others lose altitude metre for metre.
Available in three sizes, for all-up weights from 65kg to 115kg.
