The FAI World Paramotor Championships kicks off on 20 August 2016 for one week of high calibre classic competition.
The venue is an airfield in the south of England, and the competition will run at the same time as the World Microlight Championships.
The microlight competition will be directed by eight-time FAI World or European Microlight Champion, Rob Grimwood.
The paramotor competition will be directed by Mike Chilvers, who runs a BHPA paramotor club and is a veteran of the British Paramotor Team. Mike has directed of a number of British national paramotor championships in recent years.
Fourteen countries will be represented at the paramotor championships.
