AirDesign’s Vita2 SL is a super-light version of the low-B Vita 2, with a glider weight starting from just 2.8kg.
AD say the Vita2 SL is suitable for pilots who have just completed their training. Not only is it light, but very small-packing too, and ideal for hike-and-fly adventures.
We at AirDesign are mindful that the concept of hike and fly is a huge motivation to learn paragliding. We also recognise that it’s now the fastest evolving sub-genre of the sport, and embrace the growing complement of pilots enjoying paragliding hike and fly.
AD say the Vita2 SL has excellent launch behaviour, precise steering and pleasant canopy agility with a neutral feel and no nervous pitching or yawing.
It’s made from durable double-coated Porcher Skytex 27 and fitted with a 12mm compact riser set with fully unsheathed lines. A three-line design it has split-As to facilitate big ears, an “effortless” acceleration system and smooth swivels on the brake handles.
All four sizes, XXS to M, are certified for all-up weights from 55kg-105kg. The standard Lite colour scheme is mainly white with a green leading edge, and red and orange trimmings, but it can also be ordered in custom colours.
