On 19th July, Dave Sharp became the first person to fly over 500 km on a hang glider. He flew his Air Atos north out of a small unknown town in Texas, USA. Only a few weeks later, Davis Straub reset the record at 347 miles, also out of Zapata. This is the story Dave Sharp’s flight, as published in edition 70.
