The Team

BOB DRURY
EDITOR
With a strong mountaineering background, Bob Drury quickly moved on from competition flying to pioneering new vol-bivouac routes through the Himalayas in the 1990s. A natural story-teller, Bob’s writing talents developed alongside his flying and Bob took on Cross Country’s editorship in 2005. If you’ve got an idea for a story, email Bob at editor@xcmag.com
MARCUS KING
DESIGNER AND ASSOCIATE EDITOR
Flying since 1991, Marcus is a passionate and experienced pilot. His blend of technical skill and creative talent mean he’s the man that gets things done, whether its laying out the latest magazine feature or over-hauling the website. Contact Marcus by email at marcus@xcmag.com
HUGH MILLER
PUBLISHER
Hugh’s been obsessed with flying since he was a child. He won the World Air Games aged 21, and after completing a journalism degree, was hired by Cross Country’s founder Sherry Thevenot to edit Cross Country from 1998 to 2003. Hugh has also launched Kiteworld Magazine and Paramotor Magazine but his first love remains free flight.
