5 teams, 5 sports and 5 days to make a 5-minute film: a competition like no other…
The normally quiet Alpine resort of Interlarken, Switzerland, is to host a film competition like no other, on 4 - 5 July this year.
5 teams representing 5 sports (kayaking, mountain-biking, climbing, paragliding and base jumping) will be hooking up with sound and video experts, and have 5 days (30 June to 4 July) to make a top Extreme Sports film. The public is also invited to join in and try out these sporting disciplines, right in the heart of Interlaken.
Once the filming and editing is complete, the film entries will judged by a jury comprising professional sportsmen and audiovisual specialists, and will then be projected to a crowd of Outdoor Games enthusiasts on huge wide screens in the centre of Interlaken, on Saturday evening. Terraces, bars and restaurants will join in the festivities for some unforgettable and great summer evenings. There is prize money of 50 000 USD!
