A new contest has been created for 2008, the Annecy XC Challenge. It is open to all and free to enter, with prize money and goods totalling 5000 Euros.

All you have to do, is fly your socks off from either Col de la Forclaz or Montmin take offs in Annecy, any time between 15th April and 15th September 2008. Then enter your longest flight into the contest, whose registration is now open at www.xcontest.org/axcc. There’s also an email address if you need to contact the organisers, annecyxcchallenge@live.com.

There are fun (DHV 2 and below) and sport (DHV 2-3 and comp) categories. Prizegiving and party on September 17th.
