Digifly have released the ARCHIMEDE (basic vario), ARCHIMEDE PLUS (with logger 2D, polar, McCready) and CARTESIO PLUS (can communicate with a GPS, and has also a logger 3D function for the flight track) to replace the Flyer2, Newton and Cartesio2.

The new varios have more powerful and user-friendly software than their predecessors, and other customer-influenced improvements including:

- high power audio now on the front panel
- new high resistant case, metal inside (50% aluminium, 50% nylon) with anti scratch painting
- increased vario sensitivity
- new keyboard with screen help
