Sad loss - Darryl Moodie
One of South Africa’s great hang gliding figures, Darryl Moodie, has sadly taken his own life.
One of the first hang gliding instructors in South Africa, Darryl taught both hang gliding and paragliding until the mid 90s when he gave up flying to create his own computer business. His personality, knowledge of the sport and wacky paragliding creations will have left their mark on many, and our thoughts are particularly with his family and friends at this time.
