Sky’s Spare Light reserve is developed from the popular Spare rescue system, but has been made lighter in weight (only 1.4 kg for the M size; 1.9 for the XL). Its sink rate still betters the 5.5 m/s standard set for reserve parachutes.

Swiss company High Adventure have released the Beamer 2, a new version of their 1995 classic rogallo steerable reserve parachute.

Aeros’ new rescue parachute, the SX, has been tested to 115 kg with a descent rate of 5.5 m/s.
