UP have released a protector to upgrade their Fast Pro competition pod harness so that it conforms to EN standards

APCO have brought out their first ever competition pod paragliding harness – the Blade.

Gin’s Genie Race 2 harness for experienced cross country and competition pilots is both EN and LTF certified. It is designed to give sensitive glider feedback and to be comfortable for long flights.

Skywalk’s Range2 is a wind tunnel-optimised competition and cross country pod harness. It comes in 5 sizes (XS to XL) and features a carbon fibre seatboard, ergonomic cockpit and 17 cm foam back protector.

Developed for the X-Alps, Advance’s Lightness is a pod-style racing paraglider harness and rucksack duo, designed to offer maximum performance and comfort for minimum weight.

There have been several fatalities lately caused by paraglider pilots taking off with their harness leg straps open, or by misjudging their altitude over water. Following investigation into these cases, the DHV have issued the following safety advice for paraglider pilots.
