SAFETY NOTICE: over-tightened maillons can become weaker

In June 2010, the DHV released a safety notice regarding Woody Valley’s Bix tandem paraglider harnesses, where a defect prevented the deployment of the rescue parachute.

Sol have issued a safety notice concerning the way the foam back protector has been fitted in three of their harness models. A kit is available from Sol to owners of these harnesses, that will address the problem.
