David Humphrey samples Turkey’s new big distance arena ahead of the XC Turkey event in September 2010

The Turkish free-flying paradise of Oludeniz and Babadag mountain, where the 2010 Oludeniz Air Games will take place this October, have been getting ready to host the autumn’s big event.

The 5th annual international paragliding festival and accuracy competition in Serdivian, north-west Turkey (about 2 hours east of Istanbul), takes place from 30 July – 4 August 2010.

The entry fee of €75 includes accommodation, food, transport, speed arms, entry to the official parties, I.D card and a T-shirt.

The pilots who fly in the final will be selected by elimination rounds. Pilots that enter but are eliminated will not receive a refund but will continue to recieve the benefits listed above as the other competitors.
