Airwave Magic 5 certified EN D
Airwave Magic 5
The MAGIC 5, Airwave’s Big Distance racer, is certified LTF class 2-3 and EN D in all sizes (S, M and L).
They were particularly pleased with the testers’ reports that it was hard to find any Ds for the glider, and on the full speed asymmetric collapse the glider received a C, which is quite exceptional for such a fast wing (top speed of 57km/h measured at top weight on the Large size).
But Airwave say the real beauty of the Magic 5 is not in its speed range or its stability at speed, but the pure pleasure of handling, especially in thermals.
