French flying school, Ascendance, based on the Cote d’Azur will be running three cross country coaching trips of 14 days each to the Annapurna region of Nepal this autumn. An action packed itinerary includes flights from various sites around the Pokhara valley, and two expeditions, one of which includes a dawn trek to then fly down from the renowned ‘fish-tail’ mountain, Machapuchare.
Pilots must have UK Club Pilot rating or above, and be able to launch, land out and thermal happily unaided, and have a good meteorological understanding. Price of the package is 1190 € (excluding the optional SIV / acro option).
