Version 2.0 is available now for the LK8000 flight computer
Version 2.0 is now available for the LK8000 flight computer. It has several new features, outlined below:
Multi Targets: The ability to quickly change your destination. Screen overlays display distance, bearing, requested efficiency and arrival altitude.
Thermal Orbiter: An experimental function, where the instrument leads the pilot around the perceived centre of the thermal, without crossing it.
Equivalent McReady: This tells you the MacCready (MC) value, the climb rate anticipated in the next thermal, which it calculates from your air speed.
Last Thermal waypoint: Each time you leave a thermal, its position is saved as a virtual waypoint, whose altitude is your altitude when you entered the thermal.
