A production Boomerang 8, Gin’s 2011 two-line competition glider, is available now in five sizes.
When it comes to performance, results speak for themselves: Young Swiss star Michael Sigel won the first task of the PWC 2011 in Colombia this January on a Boomerang 8, and last week flew a 200km cross country on it in the Swiss Alps.
Gin say main features of the Boomerang 8 are its stability at speed, climbing ability and all-round comfort. They say they have made improvements in several areas with the production version, which is easier to launch, climbs and handles better and has a wider speed range. They add that it is fully compliant with the latest CIVL rules on 23G line strengths.
