Five good tasks at the first big comp of the Euro season

The Montegrappa Trophy is to the start of the flying season, what St Hilaire is to the end. It takes place over Easter, 21 – 25 April.

Following four tasks, Manfred Ruhmer (AT) has won the hang gliding pre-Worlds in Monte Cucco, Italy.

Xcontest’s XCamp takes place this year fom 30 August to 5 September in San Potito, central Italy.

The Monte Grappa Trophy was held in Bassano del Grappa on the edge of the Dolomites, over the Easter weekend. Manfred Ruhmer and Luc Armant won the hang gliding and paragliding categories respectively.

The Polish Paragliding Open competition 2010 takes place at Levico Terme, Italy, on 2 – 8 May. The event is proving very popular, but check their website for availability of places.

The Biotech Bordairline adventure races are a series of paraglider hike-and-fly races, which will be flown in four countries in 2010.
